Notes
Christie's novel, Cards on the Table, marks the first appearance of crime writer Ariadne Oliver (played here by Zoe Wanamaker) in the Poirot series.

Fans familiar with Zoë's work on stage may recognise Alex Jennings and Lyndsey Marshal as her co-stars in His Girl Friday and Boston Marriage, respectively.  Robert Pugh also appeared as Colonel Archie Easterbrook in Agatha Christie's Marple - 'A Murder is Announced'.
