Production
With a multi-million pound budget and star-studded cast, this television adaptation of Dickens's classic novel was the centrepiece in the BBC's Christmas schedule for 1999.  Charting the title character's rites of passage from boy to man, David Copperfield introduces a host of comic and sinister characters.  Miss Murdstone, played by Zoe, certainly falls into the latter category.  When she and her brother begin terrorising the Copperfields, how will young David fare?  Zoe appears in the first of the two episodes in this well-received dramatisation.

Notes
Zoë spoke about her experience of playing a character with 'no redeeming feature [...] at all' in a short interview for PBS.

Daniel Radcliffe now stars as J. K. Rowling's boy-wizard in the Harry Potter films, appearing alongside Zoe (who plays Madam Hooch) in the first adaptation, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.  Maggie Smith also appears as Professor McGonagall.
