Production |
| The play is set largely
in a San Francisco
dive, Nick's Pacfic Street Saloon Restaurant and Entertainment
Palace, where the locals go to drown their sorrows. The
Time of Your Life is a portrait of American working-class life
during the Depression. |
Notes |
| Zoë received an Olivier
award nomination for her performance in this
production. |
Reviews |
| 'The ever delightful
Zoë Wanamaker is superb as Kitty Duval, plangently dreaming of home
in Poland in the débris of a collapsed family business and the
shame of being a hooker,' remarked critic Michael Coveney in a
contemporary review of The Time of Your Life, after the play had
transferred to The Pit. |
