| Kate has dedicated
her time to becoming a successful inner-city teacher. Her
husband Greg, on the other hand, has drifted into middle age,
still searching for something to occupy his time. Much to
his wife's frustration, he believes the solution lies with
another female companion: a poodle called Sylvia! As Kate
grows ever more exasperated at her husband's behaviour, Greg's
canine friend must prove her worth. |

Notes |
| That Sylvia is
played by an actress rather than a dog adds an interesting new
dimension to the central characters' relationships. |
During the production's run, Zoë appeared as Sylvia in Dog
Monthly magazine! |
