Sam Wanamaker Playhouse:
You can donate to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, and find out more about this project to recreate an indoor Jacobean theatre, on the Shakespeare's Globe website.  In addition, Zoë, who is Honorary President of the Globe, talks about the history and significance of the project in a video by the theatre. 

Current and upcoming projects:
  • Passion Play (12 April - 3 August 2013; Richmond Theatre, Brighton Theatre Royal, and Duke of York's Theatre): black comedy in which Zoë plays a wife whose husband has an affair
  • Andrew Marr Show (5 May 2013, 9am, BBC One and BBC One HD): Zoë is interviewed with co-star Samantha Bond about Passion Play
  • The Older Woman (begins 23 May 2013, 7am, BBC Radio 4 Extra): Zoë plays the former teacher of a daydreaming journalist in this comedy-drama from 1993
  • Poirot - 'Elephants Can Remember' and 'Dead Man's Folly' (broadcast dates tbc; ITV1): Zoë reprises her role as crimewriter Ariadne Oliver in further adaptations of Agatha Christie's mysteries
  • The Kumars at No. 42 (broadcast date tbc; Sky1 HD): Zoë is a guest on this comedy chat show
  • Muse of Fire (broadcast dates tbc; BBC Four and festivals): Zoë comments on Shakespeare, alongside other well known actors, in this pioneering documentary

As the Globe to Globe festival begins, current affairs series BBC HARDTalk has broadcast an interview with Zoe about the significance of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

You can watch a clip from the interview, in which Zoe explains why she feels Shakespeare is 'next to God, in some way', on the BBC HARDTalk website.  Alternatively, visit the BBC iPlayer for the full interview, which will also be repeated on Tuesday 24 April at 12.30am on the BBC News channel.
