| Looking very glamorous, Zoë is the cover star of the latest edition of woman&home (dated May 2008) and has granted the magazine a rare interview (an edited version of which is available on the magazine's website), in which she discusses the success of My Family and her own family. | Series eight and nine of My Family are currently in production, as reported by Digital Spy, the Guardian, and Variety, with a total of twenty new episodes of the sitcom having been commissioned by the BBC. The eighth series begins on 11th April, at 9.00pm on BBC 1. | |||||

| In February, Zoe attended the evening press performance of Brief Encounter at The Cinema theatre, London. What's On Stage has a number of photos of celebrities at the event; pictures 24, 25, and 26 feature Zoe with her husband Gawn Grainger and Ian McKellen. | |||||

| Zoë has donated a signed call sheet from Agatha Christie's Poirot to the St Michael's Church, Llanyblodwel fundraising auction. Bids for the item, lot fifty-four among dozens of celebrity donations, can be made via the Border Parishes website. (With thanks to Simon for this information.) | |||||

| Zoë has drawn a picture of a clown to be auctioned for National Doodle Day, which raises funds for two charities, Epilepsy Action and The Neurofibromatosis Association (UK). Zoe's doodle will be sold, alongside numerous other celebrities' drawings, on eBay from 7th March. You can also vote for your favourite celebrity doodle in the Dood Awards until 31st March. | At a recent What's On Stage outing to watch the National's enormously successful production of Much Ado About Nothing, theatregoers were treated to a question-and-answer session with Zoë and some of her co-stars after the performance. Zoe also discusses her role in the play, and her enthusiasm for Shakespeare's work, in an interview for Broadway.com. | |||||
| 28.12.07 My Family and The Old Curiosity Shop popular with viewers | |||||
| According to the Guardian, both this year's My Family Christmas special and The Old Curiosity Shop were ratings winners on Boxing Day for the BBC and ITV respectively. For the next five days, 'Ho Ho No' is available to download (600 MB) or watch online via the BBC iPlayer. A short clip of the Harpers' seasonal shenanigans can be viewed on YouTube, while the BBC Comedy website provides an overview of the episode. | |||||
