| The National
Teaching Awards, BBC 2, October 2003 |
Zoë introduced the 2003 National
Teaching Awards by announcing, 'This isn't just another
awards show where celebrities receive golden statues - no.
This show honours real stars - those people who empower, and
inspire, and influence all our lives.' During the
ceremony, hosted by Eamon Holmes, Zoe was also on hand to
present the award for School and Community Involvement, won by
drama teacher Robert Barber of The Park Community School,
Barnstable. Addressing the audience of teachers, Zoe
added, 'I just wanted to say that I think you are all heroes,
you are stars, and I'm very proud and honoured to be here.' |
